Welcome to Mary Immaculate Catholic Parish Primary School Eagle Vale. I hope our website provides an insight into the life of our wonderful school, the welcoming community and the educational opportunities that are provided for the children in our care. Being a parish school, we work closely with the Parish of Mary Immaculate in providing a Catholic education for children that live in our parish.
Mary Immaculate Parish is serviced by the Oblate Fathers. Our school is one of 30 Catholic systemic primary schools in the Diocese of Wollongong, administered by the Wollongong Catholic Education Office, under the jurisdiction of the Bishop of Wollongong, Bishop Peter Ingham.
As a Catholic educational institution our primary aim is to provide a quality Catholic education for all students who attend. This aim is clearly emphasised in our Vision and Mission Statements which are at the heart of all our efforts, endeavours and achievements. We believe our academic, sporting, creative and social achievements are the result of the close relationship of school, home and parish. We firmly believe that parents are the first educators of their children and we encourage the participation of parents in the life of the school.
The children at Mary Immaculate are reminded in our school rules that to be a good learner one must be respectful, be responsible and to be safe. These rules are imbedded in the every day life of our school, which allows the provision of a positive, safe environment conducive to learning. As we ready the children for life in the 21st century, opportunities they experience are further enhanced through the use of Information and Communication Technology which is integrated in all Key Learning Areas.
